The Stratford Park partners with Jacqueline Louise Bridal for Let’s Talk Weddings

The Stratford Park Hotel has partnered with a Stratford-upon-Avon bridal boutique to help couples get ready for their special day.

The Meadow Barn at The Stratford Park Hotel has teamed up with Jacqueline Louise Bridal to host a fashion show on Thursday, March 21 to showcase the latest bridal and bridesmaid dresses.

Kirsty Moyce, owner of Jacqueline Louise Bridal, will be talking guests through the dresses being worn on the catwalk and giving expert advice and guidance to visitors after the show.

The cat walk will be positioned where the aisle is at the wedding venue, so brides can visualise what they would look like walking down the aisle in the dresses, which are set to include designers such as Evie Young, Rebecca Ingram and Pollardi.

The Stratford Park Hotel hosts around 60 weddings every year in its on-site venue The Meadow Barn, and this wedding fashion show is the first of three events the hotel is launching for couples planning weddings.

The ‘Let’s Talk Wedding Series’ will also feature events focused on hair and make-up, and photography and content capture – with the hotel teaming up with local businesses and traders to deliver the events.

It has been launched after the hotel, which is on Ingon Lane and set in 150 acres of Warwickshire countryside, saw a huge spike in interest for its wedding open weekends and private appointments with its team of wedding experts.

Beverley Haynes, General Manager at The Stratford Park, said: “The last year has seen more and more interest in our wedding open events and we wanted to gives couples an opportunity to get further expert guidance as they prepare for their special day.

“We’re delighted to be teaming up with Jacqueline Louise Bridal for our first event. We look to work with local businesses wherever possible and this presented a great chance to partner with one of the town’s most popular bridal shops.”

Kirsty Moyce, in partnership with her mother Jacqueline, opened Jacqueline Louise Bridal three years ago and has six years’ experience in the industry.

She said: “I was planning my own wedding and loved the experience. It went from there really, starting with a room in my house and now the shop here in Stratford-upon-Avon.

“We know the team at the Stratford Park well and it is great to be partnering with them on this fashion show. We’ll be putting on a catwalk with bridal and bridesmaid dresses, while also showcasing a range of bridesmaid and groomsman accessories.

“We’ll also be sharing expertise to help brides prepare, for example some won’t realise how long it can take to make a wedding dress, it could be between six to nine months and then a couple of months on top of that for amends.

“Brides may need to start looking a year before the day to make sure they get their dream dress.

“At the moment in terms of colours sage and greens are definitely ‘in’ for bridesmaids, while brides are going back to the classics, with lots of satins, classic line and traditional silhouettes.”
